If Not For the Cooks, Then For the Cause
MONTGOMERY, AL - Maxwell Air Force Base Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) Spouses Committee is raising money for their International Family Orientation Program (IFOP) by selling cookbooks that feature recipes from around the world.
Every year almost 500 military officers and their families make Montgomery, Alabama their home while the military spouse attends Maxwell Air Force Base Air Command and Staff College. Of those 500 officers, 75 of them are military officers from other countries that relocate to Montgomery with their family members. Families from every continent and over 68 countries around the globe call this city home for one year.
The Air Command and Staff College Spouses Committee is IFOP’s primary funding sponsor. Every year ACSC Spouses publish and sell cookbooks that feature recipes from this unique military family. Most military families have traveled around the United States and the world bringing back with them the best and easiest recipes for their families to savor. Many international spouses also submit their favorite family recipe from their home country. Delicious and authentic, these recipes are from the experts of their kitchens.
