I have good news! There are now 6 of us who are wanting to play, which is enough for the manager at the pro shop to be willing to provide us with a free clinic. This is a great deal given that they usually charge $75/hour for a personal lesson. Unfortunately, they're busy with tournaments next week, so we're looking at the first week in November. I'll be speaking with him again in the morning to set up a definite date, so if you could get back to me by tonight with your preference that would be great. Based upon the initial feedback, it looks as though Wednesdays or Thursdays will work best for most folks. So please let me know if you're available for a free clinic on November 4th or 5th. We'll likely set it up for 9:00 or 10:00 AM & I expect it will last ~2 hours.
Since there are only 6 of us, and it doesn't appear that we'll all be able to play on the same day, I think it will be best if we consider playing with the OSC golf group. They currently have groups playing just about every Wednesday & Thursday. There are a range of skill levels that play on both days, so even if you're a beginner you'll be in good company. Please let me know which day of the week you prefer & I'll pass your e-mail along to the person who coordinates the tee times. Generally the Wednesday group has a 10:00 AM tee time & the Thursday group has a 9:00 AM tee time. Personally, I play on Wednesdays every other week & am planning to be out there next Wednesday. I go at 9:30 and hit a bucket of range balls with a couple of the other ladies, so even if you're a beginner, please feel free to join us next week and we can get you started!

Course fees are based on rank, but for the typical ACSC spouse would be as follows:
Bucket of range balls: $3
Golf cart (9 holes): $10 per rider
Golf cart (18 holes): $12 per rider
Club rental: $5, $10 or $15
Individual lessons: $75 per hour
