What's New - May 2012

• The May Newsletter is here with lots of great information! You can read it here at the Newletter tab!

• The ACSC Class of 2012 was selected as the 2012 River Region Volunteer of the Year in the Adult Group category. The class was nominated by Maxwell AFB Air Command and Staff College in recognition of the class’ outstanding service and dedication to making a positive difference in the community. During the school year, the class volunteered more than 5,375 hours, supported 14 charity events and raised more than $118,000. AMAZING!

• Did you know that the total numbers of babies born to date for this ACSC year is 42? 23 of those babes were from Division 4 alone! Congratulations everyone!

• Looking for something to do with you children once school is out? Check out our playgroup schedule for the remainder of the year! Playgroups are held each Monday morning from 10-12. If you need any additional information, please contact Meredith Hill at queenmeredith@hotmail.com. See the Activities tab under Playgroups for the schedule for May/June.

• The Gathering of Eagles is in early June.  There will be 2 barbeques to cover all four divisions.  Families are invited to attend and meet the Eagles (your spouse has the final list of attendees).

• Please consider donating items you plan to leave behind to the International Family Orientation Program Garage Sale. All of the profit goes back into the International Wives' program and you would be helping to provide useful items to the next group of International Families. Check out the ACSC Community News tab for more information! May donate starting April 1st!

• Cookbooks are still available for sale in the snack rooms at ACSC or you can email Julie Cooley at acsc.cookbook@gmail.com.
